With bug 512861 fixed it should be easier to update this now. Who wants
to try to update libavg to 1.0.1? It'd be good to get it in before

Just a sidenote: This package has been practically orphaned on debian:

Since you guys are already working on a package of this library, could you
please also consider to adopt it?
If you have questions on how to do it please ask me.

For info libavg 1.0 has been released in the interim - so perhaps it
would be best to aim to package that instead?

I guess the segfault just happened because of the linker workaround that

I've deleted the extra lib in debian/rules ,to be able to get rid of the

Ok, the libColorNode stuff looks like a libavg bug. Sorry for that, I'll
fix it before the next release. Since this library is only used to test
the plugin mechanism, I think we can just disable the libColorNode build
and the corresponding test for now.

I have no idea what the LD_LIBRARY_PATH change is good for. Also why
were the build-depends added?

Daniel - the LD_LIBRARY_PATH was added to get around the following

Hi,
I think that the problem comes from the fact that the package is
building a lib in /usr/lib (libColorNode.so.0.0.0), whereas all libs
should go into /usr/lib/python2.6/dist-packages.
Franck, can you check where this lib comes from? It wasn't there in the
previous version, and I think it
This stack trace is probably not too revealing, as I didn't have all the
debug symbols in that lucid vm.
Could it be related to the linker change? Look at this:

linux-vdso.so.1 = (0x7fff4f697000)
libstdc++.so.6 =
Thanks Ilya, that seemed to work fine!

Re: the segfault - can you post a stack trace?
Re: #include in FBO.cpp - I've added it to the file upstream so it'll be

It should read:

Hi Frank,
Could you please clean up your debdiff, so that no unnecessary modification is

should start the upgrade with a clean source directory, and
attached updated diff.gz.

A few things:
- did you make sure that the patches were applied upstream? do they need to be
updated?
- -make is not a typo, it just says don't fail if make fails
- can you wrap lines at 80 chars in the changelog (minor)
- can you add (LP: #474004) to the changelog?

- FBO.diff simply adds include stdio.h so that it compiles, i am not sure how
