Public bug reported: Binary package hint: brasero
Description: Ubuntu 9.10 Release: 9.10 brasero 2.28.2-0ubuntu1 Brasero can't write to the external USB-Burner. Commandline burning with wodim works! I think Brasero scans just the first bus (internal) and aborts. So the USB-bus is not reconized and the mitsumi burner is missing. And there is no way to say brasero, which drive he should take. Brasero shows only the option to make an iso-File, not to burn to any drive. On the commandline wodim burns every iso: $ wodim -v dev= /dev/scd1 speed=16 -eject afile.iso $ wodim -scanbus wodim: Warning: controller returns wrong size for CD capabilities page. scsibus1: 1,0,0 100) 'LITE-ON ' 'COMBO SOHC-5232K' 'NK06' Removable CD-ROM 1,1,0 101) * 1,2,0 102) * 1,3,0 103) * 1,4,0 104) * 1,5,0 105) * 1,6,0 106) * 1,7,0 107) * scsibus2: 2,0,0 200) 'MITSUMI ' 'CR-4804TE ' '3.0D' Removable CD-ROM 2,1,0 201) * 2,2,0 202) * 2,3,0 203) * 2,4,0 204) * 2,5,0 205) * 2,6,0 206) * 2,7,0 207) * ** Affects: brasero (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Brasero doesn't recognize external USB drives, when another internal drive is also available https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/480141 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-b...@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs -- universe-bugs mailing list universe-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/universe-bugs
