xfishtank is blocked by whatever program that manage the icons on the desktop.
in gnome it's nautilus, in kde, i don't exactly remember, but i think that
there's an
option to allow the root display to show at the background.

Confirmed in Dapper with xfishtank 2.2-23. It installs itself in
/usr/X11R6/bin which needs fixed. I'll see if I can get it fixed. Thanks.
