Depending on timidity may not be a good idea, because people with midi hardware
or soundcards that support midi in hardware probably don't need or even want a
software midi synthesizer like timidity.
Rosegarden should *suggest* timidity, which it doesn't do currently (jaunty)

I was playing around with the available visualizations in Totem, and I
settled for the moment on libvisual jess plugin plugin, in the
libvisual-0.4-plugins package. Totem then crashed.

i was installing mythtv trunk (from mythbuntu site) on a up to ubuntu
8.04 alpha daily build (19 january 2008) and this crash occurred.
please let me know if i need to dig in logfiles to find more info about
the root causes

I use tiemu version 2.00. Ubuntu 7.10 and 8.04 alpha 3, occurs in both.
No shrinking occurs if i disable desktop effects, any level of desktop
effects makes this happen. it is also the only program that does it.

I'm adding lvm to this bug as LVM+LUKS is a configurable option when
installing ubuntu using the alternative CD. IMHO this is even a common
setup for notebooks, as I do have it on my notebook. So this use case is
broken completely currently.
