I've never used Linux, I managed to install a drive, get it set-up,

If it is a network problem then it should not happen at all with listen
again except occasionally when you get more than 10 secs gaps in
network but these don't happen every day.
So I believe there maybe something else. You should try at some point
running standalone mplayer and see if the proble

i haven't observed the high speed catch up effect since reinstalling. I
reckon you are probably right here. This is just normal delay issues on
the stream. It happens on listen again but isn't as bad as the life
feed.

server due to network congestion (i.e worst on BBC around Mon-Thu
7.30am-9.00, 5.00pm-7.00pm and 9.30pm-11.pm) . With a live stream you
cannot send a burst of packets to make up the backlog - the packets are

Server 2003 and install it on my server instead of Ubun
