Dear Michael, I followed your advice of completey removing the presence of any plugin files. Granted, they don't show up in the web interface anymore but I can't see any decrease in memory usage. Beware that my music collection is 600+ CDs and the sqlite db file is almost 11MB in size. slimserver

someone else's advice to turn off most plugins (easy to do on the slimserver webpage under server setttings->plugins). This didn't help a thing. Don't just turn them off. Remove them. Rename them. Just be sure they can't be loaded at server startup. This will free some memory. -- Michael -

Hi All, I am running slimserver 6.2.1 on the Linksys NSLU2 with Unslung 3.17 firmware (yes, pretty old by now). I did turn the device into a 266MHz Turboslug. Still, I am appalled at the slow response of slimserver. It is eating up 18MB for a 600+ album database. I followed someone else's advice
