Okay upon digging deeper into my last post errors regarding XML-Parser,
it looked like it was having compilation errors for Expat. Then, by
reading the first text output by the build script, I see that I must
have libexpat1-dev installed... so a quick
apt-get install libexpat1-dev
and then anot
My sources.lists looks like...

There are DAB tuners that will output a digital SPDIF. So you would
avoid the analog conversion.

Not a direct answer but you could try this and eliminate icecast and may
provide tuning from the remote.

If I look into my Kurobox/Debian installation, the home folder may be
significant ;)
It's /usr/share/slimserver for me, and I think its important since
slimserver imho uses the homefolder for the preferences file
(slimserver.pref; not sure about the database).

I cannot find where is the problem so finally I have formatted my HDD
and reinstall Debian and Slimserver. Certainly not the best solution
but now it is working, that's all I want !
