I am having an interesting problem. Well, it's really more of an
annoyance...
I am dual booting Windows XP and Ubunto 7.04. Whenever I boot into the
other OS, my SB3 initiates a firmware update. I run through the update,
and everything works OK.
But then when I switch again to the other OS (i
OK, today I forgot to unmount this same external ntfs when shutting down

Well guess what, I reboot, and have no broken links. Keep in mind I

I see no reason why you would not use the web interface from your

vaughn808 - you can't start/stop the server from the web interface, but
you rarely need to do this. Once it's installed, it runs when the
server boots.

No, it's a limitation of using a file format which can't be played
natively on the player. It has to be transcoded on the server.
Hi,

I can't seem to Rewind/Fast Forward through my iTunes AAC (.m4a) files
- is there any way to do this or is it just a limitation of running
Slimserver on Linux?
Thanks

Thankyou for this advise. This is probaly my real problem. In fact, I
even didn't know about this packages. So I tried it as described in

Unfortunately, installation does not work as described, but I belief,
this would be off topic, I will look out
What sort of exception are you getting ?
Some of the Celeron processor confuse some "confgure" scripts and
cannot run because of missing some FPU instructions.
If your exception is an FPU one then this could be happening. You can
