I've just spent the last four hours of my life trying to coax some life
back into a Windows XP installation after moving the hard drive into a
new machine. My dual booting Kubuntu worked first time no problems.
So I'm impressed too!

Did some more research and came up with this. I guess it could be the
problem. I didn't realise I was at the cutting edge. Now to figure out
how to upgrade my dh-client to unstable

I think Mick W has written a guide on how to connect an external USB
drive and, although it relates specifically to ClarkConnect, I’m
sure a lot of the information is the same for Ubuntu and can be done
with just a few tweaks.
