I created a IPKG for the OLEG images.
See attached.
I am in the process of adding it to the official repository.
Please give this i try, as i have had no time to verify slimserver.
The package itself is succesfully installed via IPKG.

I am running Slimserver on Ubunto 7.04 on a Koolu Net Appliance. My
music resides on an external USB drive (NTFS format). When I login (as
user "justin") to the Ubuntu desktop, I am able play music with my
Squeezebox. However, when I am not logged in, Slimserver is unable to
play my music.

Is the database structure likely to change in SC7?
It would be nice to have some docs to create some nice DB views to get

You would need to edit the mysql server config on the ReadyNAS to allow
access via TCP/IP. It shouldn't be very hard, but would require you
enable ssh access on the ReadyNAS and fiddle with some config files.

Hi there, thanks for replying, the ReadyNAS is a NAS device which has an
embedded version of Linux ( Debian based I think ) so I can't install
any packages, I think what I'm looking for , is a client to install on
my Fedora box which can connect to the slimserver database on the NAS
box
