I have the same problem, I tried uninstalling and upgrading to SqueezeCenter Version: 7.0.1 - 18680 but no luck. Strangely SqueezeCenter will recognise 3 artists (out of several hundred), these are ones I added after originaly installing slimserver and upgrading to SquuezeCenter. My Scanner.log
