SAMBA works great. My music and squeezecenter are hosted on a Linux box. I do all of my ripping/tagging on an XP machine connected to the network. I even have iTunes access the files via a network share to my Linux box. It is pretty easy to set up, works wonderfully, and is very stable. The o

Normally it will bind to all interfaces, you could just firewall the interface you don't want it to listen to. Otherwise try the bindAddress line in /var/lib/squeezecenter/prefs/server.prefs (if you're installing from the Ubuntu package) -- SuperQ --
