The external drive on my CC 4.0 linux laptop crashed so I installed CC 4.3 and SC 7.2.1 and added a new external Maxstor 1tb USB drive formatted as ext3. I also have a mixed environment with a Macbook and WinXP machines now. I use "MAX" on the Macbook as my CD ripper and "Tag" as the metadata tag
