I am using a Squeezebox duet and recently I can not view the albums
listing in the web gui. All other items display fine. When I try the
album view in the web gui after about 3 mins the browser stops and the
left pane disappears (see attachment). The album view IS available on
the duet controll

Apart security updates, an LTS release will be updated with ports of
newer important packages; For example kernel versions, KDE or Gnome,
filesystems, ...
This is quite an advantage compared to a non LTS version, where trying
to force the install of a foreign/newer package can in turn require
