I assume the -retry is a typo as it should be --retry. Run squeezeslave with the command below, once the player disappears from squeezecenter kill the squeezeslave process, zip up the squeezeslave.log and the server.log file from squeezecenter. squeezeslave -dall -Ysqueezeslave.log -m00:00:00:00

Why not install a basic linux version. Either ubuntu or debian will be fine. Run the installer from the CD, select only basic system or even nothing when asked and thereafter install SC with apt-get install squeezecenter. It installs all you need. It won't take more than 1 GB disk space and runs q
