I went through what you experienced. I built a window vm to run lms, but
ultimately went to ubuntu. There were 2 big reasons I found.
Under linux you can tweak the configs more since the windows version is
compiled you can't do that. Also I found scanning under linux using
mounted nfs volumes is
Thank you very much.
If perl 5.16 isn't an option for now, maybe you could include in the
overlay ebuild to have 'squeezed' (https://code.google.com/p/squeezed/)
or 'ScrawnyServer' (https://sourceforge.net/projects/scrawnyserver/)?
That's could help people going into hacking (without uptodate

Triode since you updated the source I was able to test gapless MP3

Hi Triode
A big THANK YOU for this marvelous program!
I've compiled it on a goflex net (squeezeplug) and it runs beautifully
for flacs 16/44 and 24/96. Wonderful!
Music stutters with a flac 24/192 test file, but I believe that the
goflex is at its flac-decoding limits. (There should however be
Unfortunately it doesn't work work 5.16 yet, and given Logitech's
current focus I'm not sure they'll be adding it either...
I've seen some progress in other threads re running it with Perl 5.16 on
SuSE, so I plan on reading through that so see if there's any
possibility of doing the same under Gen

Yes, Squeezeplay behaves in the same way, with one difference though;

This is interesting; I've managed to isolate the squeezelite hang to a
specific Spotify song: "Crazy" by Nelly Furtado from the album "The Best
of Nelly Furtado". Song URL is spotify:track:3TanS6liq9tdVj529GZ3v7
Playing this tune always causes squeezelite to hang for me. I can
reconfirm that rest

Thanks - does the log lock up at that point, i.e. there are no more
entries; but the process is still running?

I have some further logs gathered from when Squeezelite suddenly stops
streaming on my Raspberry.
The Squeezelite process using the first USB audio device reports the
following (-d all=debug) at the time it stops streaming:
[15:25:10.841328] process:343 strm
[15:25:10.841683] process_strm:202 s
