How do I configure piCorePlayer if I don't have a DHCP server and
connected via LAN? I prefer to give my devices static IPs.

No you can't change it through LMS. Once you find the dynamic IP address
vis LMS, log into your router and give the pCP a fixed IP, since LMS
tells you the MAC ID.

probedb said they do not have DHCP server so I'm not sure if this will

Yeah, ideally I want to set a static IP on the player. Getting an
address assigned by DHCP and telling it to keep it isn't the same. It's
just I like the keep certain address ranges for certain component/

I have found where the problem is but it's not a simple fix.
You can use underscores "_" instead of spaces for the time being. They
seem to work properly.

The funny thing is that special characters do work (i.e. I have one
called piCorePla
While my orginal squeezeboxes can play perfect in sync, my picoreplayer
with hifiberry DAC is always slightly out of sync. It's really a
fraction of a second, but noticeable . Is somebody else experiencing
this?
Is there a way to fix it?
LMS 7.7.3, Picoreplayer 1.18, connected bij ethernet.

I've added an installer for the Raspberry Pi - this takes a little
longer to install than the other devices due to slower cpu, but it
should install in ~30 mins.
