Hi, since "someone" must tell the System "hey eth0" (or whatever your Nic is named) is up i would recommend to buy a WLAN USB and plug that in. Maybe 127.0.0.1 is also up when eth0 is down - depends on your System. But i strongly recommend not to use strange things, cause in 2 months you didnt
