Hi Wirrunna and Gildahl,
I am not an ALSA expert but I think it can be explained by the
difference of setting the volume to 100% versus 0db.

No problem. I already have some menu running on the Pi, but can't get
the DoomsdayMeta.lua working just yet.
I hope to have some spare time during the holiday season to get a
working version of my mockup.

I just tested the Pi 2B in combination with a HifiBerry DAC+ and
piCorePlayer 1.21g and didn't notice any problems with this combination.

I'm thinking that the meters may be correct. On my pCP B+ with 1.18 and
HiFiBerry DAC+ (and all other SBs I've owned), I have always left
digital volume at 100%; however, on my pCP Pi2 with 1.21g and HiFiBerry
DAC+ (and touchscreen/Jivelite), I have to turn digital volume down to
about 80-85% oth

I've inherited an Intel ss4000-e storage system, apparently it is
possible to install debian on it.
In case I success doing so, will it be possible to run logitech media
server on it? By looking at the downloads page, there are some ARM
packages but not sure which one should I be looking int
