One question, are the icons missing on the [Random Mix] screen?
Yes, that's a layout glitch caused by the fact that this is the only of
the main menus (they're handled differently from the other browse menus)
which comes without icons. I had to define a custom style - which
required a change
Love the changes and new skin. Curious, is there a quick way to get
back to the top level menu?
Touch & hold the back button.
I wonder what it would take to re-produce the Touch's behaviour of a
swipe right from the border of the screen...

The next clear path would be to install the non audio variant and try
again. I have that variant and can not replicate your issue.

I've tried it with a standard wall-wart, and it's presently getting its
5v from the USB bus on my windows server. No evidence of PSU issues
when working interactively with it.

New jivelite tcz available (md5sum c80b776d7826195efe4e31dfc3f12f22)
Some tweaks to the notification popup
- larger fonts
- better centering
- smaller window to have less whitespace

Pi3 certainly needs a healthy 2A power supply just to support the
basics. Add more if there are a lot of cards bolted on. That said audio
glitches would require no response for extremely long periods of time,
and you'd likely see that when using the user interfaces too.
