I can get the display to work properly with a Python script.
I am not able to use the referenced HD44780.so in tinycore.
I downloaded to driver to the home directory and ran

We have been running perl 5.24 on piCorePlayer versions of LMS for 8 or
9 months. I would think the binaries from a rpi armv6 system would be
more compatible across the board, they for sure run on all rpi
processors. We never pushed those binaries, since very few systems
were on that version

after activating Shairport Sync in my Raspi PCP 3.20 devices, every
device (player) shows up twice in the iPeng player list, with identical
names, which can cause quite a lot of confusion. I imagine that one is
