So sorry Paul, as I have only one SD here at my holiday home (and no
keyboard, anyway) and tomorrow morning the music is expected to play,
I've already started the new installation (of 3.20) after formatting the
card.
But for sure I'll try again, this time after making a backup... If this
happens
There should be an update log saved at
/mnt/mmcblk0p2/tce...I would like to see that. I've done countless
updates and never had that happen.

Glad we have
Just started the onsite update from 3.20. Everything fine until the
reboot window popped up. I confirmed, now PCP and the Raspi it was
running on are not reachable anymore. The Raspi doesn't seam dead, it's
still pingable. But no ssh access either :(
Will have to set up PCP from the scratch...
Thanks mates...got her working...for now. That was quite an exercise.
All because:
spotify going away on mysb
VB 2.3 couldn't get spotty
couldn't upgrade to 2.4 on VB
got a raspberry pi
installed pCP and LMS
yada yada freakin yada
Cheers!
If LMS can see your Touchs and vice versa and you have scanned your
music in the new LMS - did you do Configure LMS after the mount? - then
there is no reason why you should not get sound but note my earlier
comment re volume control settings in a new instance of LMS

God only knows! Why are you syncing? Get the basics running first!
Touch, Logitech Radio, Logitech UE Radio, O2 Joggler + SqpOS
UPnPBridge - 2
ok, now they are showing up on lms. I wonder what made them disappear
and then reappear??

I just got a r3 w/pCP. Trying to update to 7.9.1 and getting the
following:
fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
tc@piCorePlayer:~$ cd /tmp
tc@piCorePlayer:/tmp$ wget

This is an I2S DAC/amplifier used in the Pimoroni speaker pHAT and some
adafruit boards
A redundant surround speaker with a pi zero w and one of these could
make a very easy portable squeezebox.
piCorePlayer works very well on my existing pi system and the easy
on/off would help save battery
The pCP team has released a minor update, but has some key new things
that some have really been waiting.
Here are the major changes.
- Kernel 4.9.35, Firmware 2017/06/30
- Supports new Allo DigiOne, MiniBoss, and updated PianoPlus driver to
support Dual Mono/Dual Stereo
- Added Piano Plus
Maybe here are some uselful hints
