I took an old (rusty) raspberry pi 1b with raspbian jessie lite and got
the exact same behaviour.

Finally got it, but it seemed like I was on a 1200 baud modem rather
than a broadband internet connection!

I'm trying to download either PiCorePlayer 5 or 4 and neither one will

place to download from?
How does it fail? Are you familiar with curl or wget?

Pi4 4Gb. Beta5 works fine with usb xmos devices and digi spdif hat.
Tested 64bit version too. Tested LMS within pi4. Everything works ok.
In fact all works flawlessly.

thanks for the solution :)
5.0.0 is not compatible with the Pi4, you need to be using the 6.0.0
beta.

You are using Beta5, correct? I don't have a USBridgeSig, so I cannot
test, but I supplied the B5 image to Allo and Greg Stewart, and they
have no problems.

Ok
in Windows (10) file explorer i made a file netusb on the boot partition
pcp-boot on the sd card.
No extension. so it is simular to the ssh file for example that is
allready on the sd card.
No luck.
At a normal boot it shows up as a client in my router. Now it does not.
i have a weird problem somehow my raspberry p4 doesn't want to boot up.
he has enough power when starting up, the green LED goes on once and
after that nothing more happens, not even after half an hour.
I have both tried the standard and real-time kernel 5.0.0 image and
burned it with etcher on

I've used this NAS for a while and many windows machined running various
flavors of windows do work great with it. Albeit being

You have a quandry here.
The NAS is ancient and could be the issue but equally the
The USBrideSig doesnt have a standard network or USB driver, it uses a
special driver that is in the netusb package.
Make an empty file called netusb on the boot drive, and you should be
fine.

My quick before-coffee googling of max2play and orange pi tells me it
may not be functional.
I'd like to see if a different implementation of samba client may
achieve different results.

Not sure max2play will work on an Orange Pi. The hardware is not the
same as a Raspberry Pi.

If you have a spare SD card you could try max2play and see if that works
for you.

Hi,
I downloaded the beta images yesterday and both versions did not work on
the USBridge signature.
In the router no ip adress came up. So i guess the lan driver did not
work or could it be that the images i downloaded have still the
partition problem mentioned above?
