I was unaware of this and hadn't noticed. I did notice that CPU temp had
risen by 5 degrees when playing a track on a non HDMI player though. Is
there any way that a
That's rather neat. The photo in your repo of the mounted display looks
really nice.
So you run this under pCP? A build for a Pi4 or 3B+, running pCP6.0.0,
with instructions for how to install it, would encourage people to use
it, I'm sure. What sort of display can it be used on - does it

Hmmm... OK, rebooted again, and now it seems to be recognised. Sorry for
the noise.

I have a USB BT dongle, which works under raspbian, however pCP does not
seem to recognise it. dmesg shows:

I am using a 5Ghz channel. Very strange are the spontaneous reboots
without interaction.

If you are using WiFi, having an incorrect county code will produce
issues ("bad reception" and frequent drop outs
Hmm I sm in Europe but I left the country code at US. Is that an issue
too?
So it shouldn't matter that the AP is in use at the same time as
Ethernet?

The name shown is what the device is reporting to Alsa, it has
absolutely no relation to the brand name. One of these is likely what
you need to set.

Turning HDMI on during an update is by design. In case there is a boot
issue, you can connect a monitor.

HDMI=off was after update "on".

Are you sure some part of BT is not showing ?
The code idVendor=0a12, idProduct=1004, shows it to be CSR bluetooth
dongle.

Unfortunately, there is nobody working on the pi RT kernel. All I can
do is apply the mainline RT patches.they apply cleanly most of the
time. I dont have much time to even do testing for that kernel, of my
10 players running today, none are using that version.

I upgraded to 6.0.0-RT via a new install. I've noticed quite a bit of
instability with this build (as opposed to 5.0.0-beta7 I'd been running
before, also with the RT kernel). One area is when setting larger output
buffers like 500 MB for Squeezelite: playback does not work at all with

Just to let you know that I upgraded to v6 today. Using an 8GB card and
it no longer loses output settings for the Cirrus Logic card I use. Am

Thank you for the update.
