clean install onto a pi2. installed extra fs, and lms. wifi on a old
edimax nano usb dongle.
not as slow as i expected scanning a mp3 folder on a nas.
auto start of a favourite radio stream on power up takes a little while
to hear music, but amazing considering the hardware.

Can't answer your other questions, but if you open piCorePlayer in a web
browser, at the very top left there's a tiny "Help" button, click that,
then the "How to" tab, then the "Manually upgrade LMS" link.

First I'd like to say I do not have a detailed knowledge about
RaspberryPi, PicorePlayer, LMS but somehow a few years ago I managed to
change LMS from my Nas (QNAP TS269pro) to a Raspberry Pi 3. The reason
for the change was that the plugin Spotty didn't work with my NAS, and
now it works
We work with git, so all revision control is tracked. So yes, its
there. The card seems to lockup if you do things in the wrong order.
What I would do is make sure squeezelite opens the card in 16 bit mode.
Put a 16 in this box on the squeezelite page.

I had some time to test streaming on my IQ Audio Codec + today.
I can't seem to get it to stream at all. Seems exactly like it was
before you did the patch update last week.
