I've just spent an afternoon setting up a KY-040 encoder to work with
squeezelite and was wondering if there was a simpler approach that would
be easier for normal folk.
Would it be possible to support USB media controllers natively in
Squeezelite? I think they are supported if you install Jivel

Screensavers for pCP/Jivelite are configured using Jivelite itself.
'Settings' -> 'Screen' -> 'Screensavers'.

Looking for some help. I've just updated my LMS server and player from
PiCorePlayer 3.5 (yep, been a long time since I set this up!) to
PCP6.0.

Thats a jivelite question.there are all kinds of things you can do
with that. Best talked about in it's own thread, or the jivelite
thread.
Have you looked at Custom-Clock - CustomClock helper.

I discovered a very neat feature when this setting is on:
When you touch the screen anywhere but the location of the power button
the display turns on for about 5 seconds and shows the time.
My question is if it is possible to change what is displayed when I do
this?

That does help, thanks. I don't need the very latest for this particular
install, as it's just used in a holiday house occasionally (assuming
we're ever allowed to travel again!). I'll give that a go soon. It's
based on a Docker I've used before (larsks) so should be easy I hope.
