I think you are referring to something that's usually

Actually just found a minor problem in that the output channel is not
getting saved. After a reboot I have to go back into the DAC setting and
set output to "line out".
Hi-
I have several PCP controllers with raspberry pi touch screens around my
house and streamers in a main room connected to a distribution
amplifier. The problem I have is that if the LMS server or my local
internet goes down for any length of times the controllers freeze and
stop connecting

Its clearly something with that device. I have 2 different usb network
devices working fine. What other capabilities are in the device?
The easiest way to figure this out would be to
1) Boot without the device

I'm not clear what is required to boot a Zero2-W with the 32 bi image.
My most recent attempt to boot one
I tried the HifiBerry OS and still nothing comes out so I'm thinking the
card is faulty. I'll email them for a replacement.

Flirc is nothing to do with lirc, in fact if you're

Yep, and there is a squeezelite setting :)
Let's
Using hifiberry os to test your board is normally the best way to get
answers.

This post says using the same settings as a Digi pro works but that
doesn't seem to be in the output list.

Hi Sean
Wait until Paul is up and had a few coffees :), see what he suggests.
In the meantime; maybe try the hifiberry OS and see if that works.
Then contact HiFIBerry again, there are quite a few complaints against
that board on their forum, most of them unanswered .
At least you
Thanks for the advice Paul and Ronnie. I've now put the Digi2 Pro onto a
spare Pi I have and left the Digi+ Pro on the original to compare. Both
have Digi+ Pro selected as the output device, both have
sysdefault:CARD=sndrpihifiberry as the Output setting. So as far as I
can tell, both are set
@SEAN
You can also check the board with another OS
HiFiberry OS auto-configures and has a squeezelite player
Max2Play will also configure and has squeezelite (it is not a
requirement to have a licence).
I have just tested this on my old digi-pro; select hifiberry on the m2p
front page,

Also, do you have the red light on the optical output ?
