On piCorePlayer with LMS installed, there are 2 web servers.
1. pCP - http://192.168.1.xxx
2. LMS - http://192.168.1.xxx:9000
The CLI setup enable/disable is for #1 pCP web interface, won't effect
LMS web interface.
I can assure you basic installs are very stable on a healthy networks.

but another problem has arisen. Access to the LMS webGUI is very
unstable. It easily becomes inaccessible over LAN and I can't figure out
why. Fiddling around somewhat aimlessly with resta

With LMS running as my main music server it would be much more snappier
to get new RP. I dont have any between RP 1 and 4.

Hello, I run linux (arch) and have docker installed. All my containers
are running and there seem to be no port conflicts.
LMS runs fine, web access is fine, I can add plugins fine, but I cannot
get any music to add to the library/database.

It is my understanding that modern HATS have an eeprom that tells the
RPi what device tree to load.
So, dmesg should tell you either, it successfully loaded drivers or it
failed to load drivers.

OK. I think the warning is suitable.
I worked out the passive heatsinking of the Argon case was more than
good enough for my pCP usage. The fan was noisy enough to hear a couple
of metres away!

What is the format of the new drive? If it is ext3/4, then there is a
button on the pCP web interface to set the permission. (Its in the same
area where you configure the mounting.)

brand new USB HDD, then connected+mounted new drive to rPi piCorePlayer.
Pointed LMS to attached drive, but it won't scan.
ssh into pCP shows the problem:

If someone tested it, you can change it. I don't have the time in the
moment to look after it.
