I have found the picoreplayer backup quite handy. I typically do the
backup after ever update and immediately write the image to a spare SD
Card. I've only had to use it once, but it was real handy to swap cards
and immediately be up and running. Sometimes you just don't have the

On the piCorePlayer webGUI main page youll see the option for Sd
card backup. Youll select the destination for the backup. Could
be the NAS or an attached usb drive. The backup will create a IMG file.
Then you can burn this img file to a different SD card in the future if
need be. Bottom line,

Yes I had it defined, and tried a couple of different locations, both
within my main music folder and in a separate folder at the level above
it on the same drive.

Sure syncing is possible with the plugin and it works here eg. between a
Pi 3B with Hifiberry, a directly to an Apple Airport Express attached
speaker and the Airport Express via the Plugin and the Ikea Symfonisk

The sound is still not very good. Especially voices (news etc.) sound
overdriven. It needs some fine-tuning...
I guess that synching is not possible with the airplay plugin? BR Jörg
