Just updated my first gen Raspberry Pi from piCorePlayer 8.1.0 to 8.2.0.
All went well except that it now will not play MP3 radio or files. How
can I troubleshoot this? Thanks.

Went to update squeezelite and just noticing the "ffmpeg" versions. I
assume these will play files that the standard version will not? Any
reason not to use the ffmpeg version? Thanks.

On the DAC front, HiFiBerry and IQaudIO offer basic boards for well

Touch is fine so long as it keeps working. While you have someone to

Put the new content in a separate custom-convert.conf file so that it

If you already know your filters (freq, q, gain), you can do it with SoX

It's essentially the same as Vortexbox: a linux OS wrapped around LMS.
VB is built on Fedora while Daphile uses Gentoo; worth reading about.
Good luck!

Nothing against Vortexbox, but have you looked at Daphile? Seems a cool
alternative and more recently maintained.

I was thinking SoX in a custom-config could be used to do this so long
as the balance change is fixed, but don't see a simple "balance" switch
in the SoX manual. Maybe split the channels, gain one side, and
recombine? Of course, would only apply to sources from LMS.

Typically, this is done by reserving a specific IP for that device's MAC
address via a setting in your router.

I'm not familiar with that OS, but I'm sure the problem is that you need
to tell SqueezePlay which of the available audio outputs it should use.
With Squeezelite, there is a commandline switch (-l) that types back all
available outputs. You then specify the output in the start up script

Be advised BT support on Max2Play is a premium plugin and requires a

Or use SoX via custom-convert.conf.
Or use a "stereo-to-mono" cable/adapter.

Squeezebox can't play M4P files. The "P" means they are protected (i.e.
