Aha,
Looks like I needed
Code:
sudo cron -e
Will find out in the morning!

Help an idiot again please.
I had the system running for ages with no problems and used a cron to
set some players up ready to start playing for the morning alarm call.
Then we had a lightning strike which took out most of the hardware so I
am rebuilding.
PI3 gone in as LMS server, PI2 is a player

Having a little trouble mounting a NAS with 2.05
The NAS is a WD MyCloud
On the Setup Network Disk Mount tab I have
192.168.1.100
MyCloud
CIFS
But cant get a mount.
So I tried
Code:
sudo mount //192.168.1.100/MyCloud /mnt/mycloud -o password=

I've no intention of moving my pCP from pi2 to pi3, it whizzes along
just as fast as I need on the pi2, as does my LMS on TC7.
Might be tempted with a pi3 fpr me kodi though :-)
Bemused's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.
Insitu upgraded from 2.01 to 2.02.
Squeezelite did not run.
Selected analog audio, no luck.
Disabled jivelite, no luck,
Disabled 10 band equaliser and got squeezelite running.
Reselected digi amp+, enabled jivelite and 10 band.
All looks great.
Big thanks guys

Pi model B struggles with LMS and SOX if you need transcoding.
I tried years ago and eventually moved to BBB.
Just last week I put LMS on pCP and pi2, definitely the way to go.
Bemused's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.c
Just replaced my old LMS on BBB with LMS on the Rpi2 with the pCP 2.01
image and its fairly whizzing along.
Floundered along the way as I'm a novice but Greg gave some pointers for
the LMS install.
Also spent some time getting a windows cifs share mounted and ended up
loading filesystems-4.1.13-pi

Did you try latter :D

Now if a GPIO pin could toggle the mixer between two settings we would
have a loudness button, neater still a soft button on the jivelite
screen.
Just thinking aloud and being a pest here, more than pleased with what
you've given us.

I had some similar niggles, seems to be the order in which things are
enabled.
See post 148 perhaps

Moved from 2.0 to 2.1 and running on RPi2 with Pi-DigiAMP+ and 7" touch
and flirc ir.
After enabling equaliser I lost jivelite and attempting to access to
equaliser from the web gui resulted in pCP saying package not installed
and rebooted to install. Endless circle of reboots.
Logic told me to

Congratulations and thanks to you guys.
pCP has been smashing all along and just keeps getting better.

Well Im pretty sure the format is in hertz ie 48000 as 48 stops all
playback.
Problem
I found I had a custom-convert file on the server, cant remember why I
put it there but most probably due to some historical bbc iplayer listen
again problems.
I renamed the custom-convert.conf > custom-convert.conf.bak so now I
understand the LMS GUI file types take precedence.
Result looks like

48000 had no effect.
I just discovered the 24/96 problem is system wide.

Thanks Greg
This particular sytem is new and went straight in on your latest
release.
I haven't
Pi2, Hifiberry Amp+ running latest pCP and jivelite with 7" screen.
I can't play 24/96 flacs, I know the Amp+ can only play upto 44kHz but
shouldn't my LMS be down sampling?
I use the player synchronised with other pCP systems that can play
24/96.
Any advice gents

I updated a few Rpi from 1.18b to 1.21g
All went fine bar one which which crapped out. This one ran a script
(/home/tc/relay.sh) which drove a GPIO pin to initiate a power on / off
for my DAC.
Today I found a backup of 1.18b + relay.sh and after re flashing normal
service was resumed.
So I then

First off is a thank you for providing piCorePlayer
Sadly one of mine has just failed on upgrading.
