files and I don't seem to be able to tell it to use alsa instead of oss. the source tree in lib/portaudio is the same as in the zip file. Can somebody please tell me how the lib/libportaudio/linux26/lib/libportaudio.a file get created ? Thanks -- Keyze

What this gives me is a dmix that uses the iec (optical) out port, I can up mix to 5.1 channels and also attach to a device that need 48000 and alsa converts back to 44100. it lets me leave squeeseslave running and lets me play movies and other things :) and I haven'
