Can anyone tell me where to find that? I can only find versions up to
2.14.
Thanks

Ah, Both run fine when started in that order.
Seems like a good workaround. Would be interesting to know what the
conflict is though.
Thanks,

To transcode to flac you will need to install flac.
go to flac.sourceforge.net to download the source code which you can
compile on your linkstation.
I've not tried transcoding to flac but I know going from flac to mp3
works on an HG linkstation.

the linkstation can cause the
music to stutter or stop but otherwise it seems pretty stable.

...and regarding the alienbbc thing it seems this has been discussed and
resolved before in this thread. You were right - it looks like AlienBBC
has been disabled for stream.mp3

Thanks for the reply bpa.
Looking around in other threads it looks like I need to install FLAC on
my server machine for flac-mp3 transcoding to work.
I'll have a go next time I'm home.

.
It appears to only be a problem with a certain range of serial numbers
- but it's not clear which are safe and which are not. (I was lucky)
It's not clear whether Buffalo are planning on fixing this for any
future versions but for now it's probably worth steering clea
little sluggish and using the remote
sometimes takes a second or two to respond but it's fine for my
purposes.
And I recently got AlienBBC working whicj I never expected to work
(even simultaneously on two streams!) and again it doesn't seem to have
any problems with this.
