Hi All I have just purchased a new HP Microserver and am awaiting its arrival. I will be buying more RAM for it and want to put in 8GB. Now does LMS run fine on 64 bit or would I be better off sticking with 4GB and going 32 bit? Thanks for looking

Are you sure the name is resolving? From your other machine try going to http://ip address:9000/ Also are you sure squeezecenter is running try running 'top' at the console. Also look in /var/log/squeezecenter/server.log

I had a similar problem on mine. It was because the slimserver user did not have rights to open the files. Not knowing linux very well I just bodged it setting slimserver to own the files and subdirectories. As in I used chown and chgrp. -- bert1e
