I think I need to uncomment the line to have hdmi output when the TV is
not powered on, or maybe it is AVR/processor related because this
setting is not mandatory.

I think LMS does not support multi channel audio, I have some DVD-audio
and SACD RIP (in FLAC 5.1) and one DTS track, I didn't try those.
It could may be checked that the incompatibility comes from LMS, as I'm
not competent in this field.

The line to uncomment is "hdmi_drive=2", it forces sounds through HDMI.
Just need to edit it on the sd card after writing to it.

card, no configuration whatsoever except on config.txt uncomment the
hdmi_drive line and it works perfectly !
