A bag of mixed fortunes. The hard drive suddenly ceased to be recognised
intermittently
The good news, a 128GB memory stick arrived and has been perfect, so
perfect I am reluctant to experiment with pcp. I will do that with the
spare pi as an extra player, when time allows.

I could never get on with fools and horses, I was more yes minister and
last of the summer wine. Is it and age thing perhaps, I'm 76
My memory stick is due shortly, but in meantime I reorganised the power
supply. Removed the splitter to two mini usb ports and connected rpi
screen to two

M2p now unusable once more.

It is a generic 2.5" drive, powered from the usb. Just had it lying
around
Would I be better with a memory stick or quality self powered hard
drive
Only have 75GB of media at this time, so 128GB stick would do easily

In interim, I set up the usb drive using (wash my mouth out) Max2play
using usbshare1/usbmusic
I much prefer PCP, but continue to fail, scan zero

I hope someone can assist, this is frying my brain
Pi 3 with PCP and usb hard disc
The files were downloaded onto a hard disc drive in ext4 format
I can see the 514 files on LMS and can browse to them, but scan produces
nothing
Where am I going wrong??
