kolossos4730, the banding in your screen shot is exactly what I'm
seeing. It happens with the built in wallpapers and wallpapers I add
that have gradients.
I also have the Windows version of Jivelite installed and don't see
banding as bad. In this shot there is some slight banding towards the
top

piCorePlayer. I guess the banding is just a result of the screen. If I
could ask another question of you...how do I copy wallpapers to the
folder you mentioned? I'm pretty new to all this. I have Putty and

Ralphy, thank you. I'm using Jivelite within piCorePlayer and am using
the version that is downloadable within the setup screen. When choosing
any wallpaper, other than black, there is some pretty bad banding. Is it
just the Pi screen or could the wrong wallpaper size be displaying?
