It is now working. No idea what I was doing wrong, but I can log in.
I've also done
ssh-copy-id tc@kitchen.local
So I don't have to use the password.

It is case insensitive - Kitchen, kitchen, KiTcHeN are all the same.

Tried logging into one of my players this morning via SSH only to find:
Permission denied, please try again.
I know I haven't changed the password. Other than doing a reinstall, is
there any way of resetting the password?
Looks like the SHIM isn't working as I tried a Phat Beat and I get
sound.

Did a fresh install and that bug is still there, had to put the settings
of 80::0: back in after turning the toolbar off. At first I thought it
was installing Jiveli
Did a new install of PCP 8.0.0 this morning and the ALSA was set to
80,,1,. After I installed the Jivelite tweak, this was blank and I have
no audio from the headphone socket.

I've only been using Jivelite and piCorePlayer for about a week, but
I've successfully managed to connect and setup remote control using a
TSOP38238. Is it possible to modify the keytable file to support more
than one type of remote control so that I can use the original
Squeezebox remote and a Y
