I was thinking more along the line of: The Radio is connected to
mysqueezebox. But it can also ppick up the stream from my computer. But
as you explained, that doesn't seem to be an option.
I just gave Squeezeplay another try. Doesn't work. I guess I'll mod one
of my old routers.
because I always need to change to SBS.
I want: To use my Radio without the computer. But also be able to
effortlessly have the same music in all my rooms. That's why I was
asking for the streaming solution because that would be the easiest way
to get around these hurdles.

oot my computer just because I
want some music with my coffee in the morning.
I guess the airportexpress or maybe a moded WLAN-router might be the
easiest solution. The other is probably really a dedicated server like
the shivaplug.
That's disappointing. But thanks for your help. I guess I'll get me an
airportexpress then.

View th
O.k. you know probably better. But I still think it is a bit weird. All
I am asking for is that the Radio picks up a stream. The only
difference to a webradio should be that this stream is broadcasted in
my local network and not on the internet. Or am I missing something?

it, and I wanted a simple solution to get this music to my Squeezebox
radio.

like Rhythmbox to put out a stream of what it is
currently playing and Squeezebox Radio to simply pick up on it, like a
regular web radio.
Sorry if this has already been answered. It seems to be such an easy
request, but I have searched and found nothing.
