That doesn't make any sense. Those 3 perl dependencies are core
packages, from the fedora repo.
I found and installed the missing perl dependencies at rpmfind. I'll
list it here in case others see the same problem
yum install
ftp://rpmfind.net/linux/fedora/linux/releases/16/Everything/i386/os/Packages/perl-YAML-0.73-2.fc16.noarch.rpm
yum install
Strange. I installed the repo per your instructions and removed the LMS
I had installed (7.8 from slimdevices) I get the same error as on the
Vortexbox repo.
[vortexbox ~]# yum -y install logitechmediaserver
Loaded plugins: langpacks, presto, refresh-packagekit
No package logitechmediaserver
Not sure what is going on there. Try ..

After some search I found this in /etc/yum.conf:
exclude=logitechmediaserver No wonder I didn't get to install it! Quite
embarrassing.. I have no idea how or when this exclude entered my
yum.conf. I still have trouble getting logitechmediaserver installed and

I would like to use the FE16 repo for my Vortexbox (for LMS,
BrutefirDRC..), but the web page states 'Coming soon...' Any chance of
an update or a quick howto?

removed, (now that F16 is EOL), and I'm not sure what impact this is
