Hi In order to be able to write to NTFS filesystem on a USB HDD, you need to install NTFS-3g package. apt-get install NTFS-3g -- sbp sbp's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=37237 View this thread:

I have SqueezeBoxServer running on Voyage on an eeePC 901. The initial scan of the music folder with over 3000 files took 90 seconds. I seem to remember this taking MANY minutes on my previous WinXP install. :-) -- nworbnhoj --

Hi Just to inform you that there seems to be some problems running minidlna on read-only voyage. It can't create the database, and I haven't figured out yet how to solve this. For now you need to run it in a writeable state: remountrw - then it will create the database. Afterwards it is able to r

Perhaps you'd be interested in using something like lighttpd (lightweight HTTP server in debian distros) with webdav configured on it ? Should be lightweight, and all sorts of clients should be able to access files. Microsoft machines included. (or an nfs kernel module, if that's an option, of co
