Hello,

I have a big collection of "modules". If you don't know what that is I
suggest having a look at

http://www.modarchive.com/help/newbie2.shtml

I know it has nothing to do with audiophile but I enjoy every now and
then listening to these music (quite a few are better that some
commercial song you can find on CD but that's just a matter of
opinion)

Under linux or windows I use MikMod to listen to them (winamp also
works but I haven't used it in years).

http://mikmod.raphnet.net/

I'm wondering if anybody created entries in the convert.conf file that
would use an program like MikMod to create a wav file that can then be
used by slimserver? module to flac would be better network wise but
that would require a double conversion. Of course with today's
computers mixing a module doesn't take a lot of CPU.

Not sure either how to make slimserver scan *.it, *.mod, *.s3m, *.xm,
and a few other module extensions?

Help and suggestion greatly appreciated.
