I think I have the SB1, it just says "Squeezebox" on it. Firmware version 40. I did get it working with FLAC source (uncompressed over network), see 'this topic' (http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=17283). I'm still not sure why it's crashing when I try to transcode to MP3, but it's

Sigh, maybe I should pick this up again after a night's sleep. When I went back to 6.1.1 on the problem server, it was configured to use my MP3 music directory. I changed it to my FLAC dir and rescanned, but didn't do clear and rescan. SO I thought it was working with FLAC, but it was still playin

I'm sorry, the other box I have that is working is running 6.1.1. I downgraded my problem server to 6.1.1 and now it seems to be working with FLAC as well. Perhaps there is a FLAC problem with 6.2.0? -- letrout ___ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdev
