I upgraded the Ubuntu to 11.10 - no more advertising on the Sony player,
and, thankfully, no 'issues' with LMS

Both Plex 0.9.0 Beta 4 and XBMC have issues on ATV2 4.4.4. I recommend
the aTV Flash (black) Media Player 1.2

Yes - they can coexist...I have the Serviio running just fine on the
same box as the Logitech
.here is another DLNA question .. I would like to diable the DLNA
'advertisement' from the Logitech Media Server, and use only the
Serviio server -- any ideas ?

boxes. Those two seem to play nicely together.
Last week, someone suggested that I run plex in order to stream to a
jail-broken apple tv 2. I'm curious about this. Anyone have any
experience with plex?

Not a problem. I have LMS 7.7.1 and Serviio 0.6.1 running on a VortexBox
Appliance with VortexBox 2.0/Fedora 16. I also have another DLNA server
(minidlna) on the same platform. All play well together.
