Sounds good. I like having the old channel code around while the pluto 2
work is going on if we need a reference but as soon as something in a
channel breaks the fix should be commenting it out or just deleting the
code. Delete away!

Note to lay another question up for vote before we've resolved my
prior proposal:
Are there any objection to starting the removal of IChannel on
uPortal/branches/working-pluto-2.0 by removing Test classes related to
channels?

I've left Spring 3 in place, and just committed some fixes to address
compilation problems in non-portlet packages introduced by the switch

much that's fine too.
So the pluto dependencies should all be in order. The one b

Or do both at the same time?

I just did some cleanup of the pluto 2 dependencies. I don't think we
want to import anything from the pluto driver impl, that is the little
stub-portal the pluto uses for testing. My commit does break compilation
for now but I'm working on getting the service APIs fixed up.

Finally catching up on email
The namespace and plugin name don't matter that much. We'll likely just
find a place in the wiki for it since 3.2 is the last uPortal release
that will support channels.
