The Position

Reporting directly to the regional field customer service manager, you will be 
providing pre sales support to the territory sales team, implementing the Customer 
Technology Solutions and providing customers with training and aftercare services.  
The position will support the business goals for increasing customer automation and 
customer loyalty, by achieving optimum implementation of standard Customer Technology 
(CT) solutions that are aligned with the customers' needs and the organisation's 
business goals.  Includes 
the full process of actioning automation requests through to post implementation 
evaluation and testing.

The candidate will have a designated territory (Abu Dhabi) and will be required to 
support other territories as needed.

The candidate will be required to maintain a good knowledge of the CT products, 
current Information Technology and Communications technologies within the company and 
the marketplace.  Having a thorough knowledge of the company's business, its advanced 
automation solution, and the environment.

With knowledge to implement standard solutions that enhance the effectiveness of the 
customer's business and tie the customer to using the company's products.

Job Description & Duties

1.      Supporting the sales team in developing and closing business opportunities by 
acting as an advisor to the customer regarding the standard CT solutions in the 
companies portfolio (taking account of the customers business needs and technology 
capabilities.

2.      Develop and maintain business relationships with clients

3.      Provide an appropriate level of after sales care including implementing 
hardware and software upgrade requests 

4.      Perform routine install of hardware and/or software at the customers premises

5.      Performs training assessment for each install taking into account the business 
requirements, CT solutions and capabilities of the users.

6.      Tailors and provides training to both client and company staff to ensure they 
are competent in all aspects of the solution.

7.      Provides the sales team with relevant knowledge in regard to opportunities 
that result in benefit to both clients and the company


Qualifications & Experience

-    Degree in Computer Science, Business Management or related field from reputable 
university

-    Minimum 5 years of working experience in a professional, preferably international 
IT environment of which 3 years in a pre-sales role 

-    Excellent organisational, customer service and communication skills 

-    Professional presentation skills

-    Have an understanding of project management methodology and tools would be 
advantageous

-    Fluency in English is mandatory with Arabic desirable

-    Willingness to travel in the EMEA-region 30% of the time 

-    Development in Java/J2EE (preferred). Oracle RDMS (preferred).
