*DIRECT CLIENT* *SAN Storage Engineer* *Phoenix, AZ* *$55/h on C2C* *6+ Months* *Description* · Experience with Enterprise level backup solutions and storage, Tivoli Storage Manager, Avamar, Data Domain, Netbackup, ProtecTIER, TS3500 Tape libraries · Proven experience of managing NAS, SAN and Object Based Storage including deployments and troubleshooting. · Understands Storage technology, architectures, solutions, administration and configuration of NAS, SAN and Object Based Storage. · Possesses good technical knowledge of Storage, Switching and Servers, including EMC Flash arrays, Netapp NAS, Ceph configuration, OpenStack, Red Hat Linux, Cinder, Isilon, etc. · Knowledge of tiered storage in a cloud environment and storage commissioning and decommissioning, Storage Virtualization, VMWare, Data Domain, EMC Networker , IP / Fibre Networking, Backing up Virtual Hosts, Avamar etc. · Experience with tools to manage and support storage operations, including Monitoring and Performance management (Nimsoft, Nagios etc). · Skilled in deploying storage infrastructure in collaboration with architecture colleagues and service provider partners · Self-motivation and strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are key attributes for this position · Ability to handle multiple tasks, set priorities, schedule, and meet deadlines (work under pressure and prioritize tasks) · Manage capacity, performance and availability of enterprise storage solutions including active system monitoring and management. · Lead infrastructure issue resolution support including problem analysis and development of problem circumvention solutions.
