*Unix Developer* *6+ Months * *Rate: $55/hr on C2C* *Phoenix, AZ* *Scanned copy of work authorization is a must* *Job Description:* This is a challenging position for a senior Unix/Linux developer who has advanced experience developing automated systems for Unix and Linux platforms. You will have the opportunity to work as a member of a highly skilled development team that develops applications, utilities, platform middleware and other support systems for Unix and Linux servers *Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:* • Determine project specifications and design, document, build, maintain and test systems developed using advanced shell scripting and/or Perl programming • Brainstorm, design and develop innovative, high quality solutions in a scripting language with appropriate focus on structured programming, modularization, maintainability, system efficiency, robust error handling and fault tolerance, flexibility, user-friendliness, reusability and expandability • Adopt and implement team’s programming standards/best practices, version control, configuration management and design considerations for all application development and platform projects • Collaborate with team to define precise and detailed functional specifications meeting business needs, as well as create thorough system specifications to be used by self and team for development • Troubleshoot and debug existing complex applications under aggressive timelines • Learn and apply new programming techniques/algorithms as required • May need to provide expert technical guidance and/or review deliverables of other Unix/Linux developers *Required Qualifications:* • 5+ years of experience with shell scripting and/or Perl programming, with excellent development skills using a high-level scripting language (KSH, Perl preferred) • Red Hat Linux system administration experience is a requirement • Demonstrated design and coding experience of automated systems with shell scripting and/or Perl programming • Experience with distributed computing and network infrastructure is preferred • Experience with security and SAN administration a plus • Strong written and verbal communication. • Must be a team player with a positive attitude and a quick learner of new programming techniques and languages. • The candidate must have an eye for detail and a strong desire to solve complex problems. • Educational background in Computer Science/Engineering will be preferred Regards Divya | Executive IT Recruitment Infoway Software / Amicus Systems Inc | Address388 Washington Road, Suite A Sayreville, NJ 08872 917-832-9862 | [image: WebsiteGB] <http://www.infowaysoftware.com/> [image: email] <di...@infowaysoftware.com> <http://in.linkedin.com/in/dasaridivya/> [image: Facebook button] <http://https//www.facebook.com/dasari.divya> [image: Twitter button] <http://https//twitter.com/ddivs777> *(Please share the Hotlist / suitable resumes only & not the requirements)* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "US_IT.Groups" group.
