*Job Title: Data Center Migration Technical Writer* *Location: Long Island City, NY (Need Locals)* *Duration : 6+ Months* *Interview : F2F Interview* *Required Skills:* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science, software engineering, information technology, business management or a closely related field. Minimum of 5 years’ of experience in information technology. Strong analytical skills required to effectively understand complex networks and technical terminology. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work successfully in a matrix environment to achieve objectives. Demonstrated ability to compile, write, revise, up-date, and edit various types of documents, templates, correspondence, and presentations, including web content. Experience working in a collaborative environment; and experienced with team leadership/direction. Skills to use logic and flow diagrams to describe the functional processes of a system. Excellent written and oral communications skills and the ability to communicate effectively with technical teams and business teams. Ability to communicate and work effectively with customers, external vendors, IT staff and City management. Excellent time management skills to handle changing priorities in a fast-paced technical environment. Must be detail oriented with high degree of accuracy. Experienced working with teams of technical and management staff in the analysis, preparation and processing of technical documentation. Highly proficient with MS SharePoint, Project, Visio, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. *Desired Skills:* Knowledge of municipal government and City procedures and environment. Experience working in a regulatory compliance environment including, but not limited to HIPPA.
