Role: PeopleSoft HCM analyst
Location: NYC, NY
Duration: About 5 months

 

Need only GC/US citizen

 

SCOPE OF SERVICES:

 

This position will work with all levels of the agency in assessing needs for 
various business functions. The person will be responsible in identifying and 
analyzing options for implementation of variety of new features, enhancements 
and fixes in Peoplesoft. Additionally, the candidate will need to perform 
detailed 
requirement gathering, compile business and functional design documents, create 
and execute test plans and assist with user acceptance testing and end user 
training. Applicants for this position should possess strong verbal and written 
communication skills and have significant experience interacting with business 
users at all levels. 

 

MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

 

·         Gather, analyze and document business requirements and process flows

·         Guide, inform and instruct business users on system functionality 
and features

·         Configure PeopleSoft applications to meet business requirements

·         Conduct testing

·         Lead or contribute to projects

·         Research and resolve system errors

·         Support project task management, as needed

·         Status reporting

·         Develop PeopleSoft applications

·         Trouble shoot system errors

·         Administer application security

Develop test plans and scripts

·          

 

DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

·      Functional expert with at 3-5 years of PeopleSoft HCM (PeopleSoft Human 
capital Management) experience. 

·      Act as the functional lead for PeopleSoft HCM v 9.1 

·      Configure new HCM PeopleSoft systems -Core HR, Workforce Administration, 
Enterprise Learning, Workforce Monitoring, Health and Safety, Set Up HRMS

·      Act as the subject matter expert in all major HCM modules 

·      Must have strong experience in requirements gathering for software 
development 
projects. Lead initial discovery and gather business requirements

·      Fit/Gap Analysis

·      Create high level design documents- Configuration Documents, Functional 
Design Documents, Design and build entire Functional Prototype and Functional 
Test script creation/execution 

·      Analyze and facilitate redesigning business processes around best 
practices

·      End-user training development and execution

·      Ability to create complex queries and report generation tools

·      Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong 
organizational 
and analytical skills and the ability to effectively present information

·      Experience with integration of PeopleSoft HCM with PeopleSoft Finance

·      Familiarity to PeopleSoft Financials will be a plus

·      Knowledge of PeopleSoft 9.1 security

·      Experience in developing test plans, cases and scripts

·      Full Life cycle methodology experience –  requirements, design, 
development, 
testing and roll-out
